Trivia

Ben Stiller

Stiller is a major fan of Tom Cruise and has impersonated him countless times. He played a fictitious crazed stunt double, Tom Crooze for a short spin off for MTV, named “Mission: Improbable”. The pair have been friends ever since.

In 2001, Stiller took part in a celebrity version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, and won $32 000 for his charity. He phoned his famous mother, Anne Meara, for help, but still got the answer wrong.

Ben is part of a Hollywood clique, nicknamed the “Frat Pack”, who often appear in films together. Other members include: Owen Wilson, Jack Black and Kyle Gass.

His favourite actress is Diane Keaton and he even wrote an article about her for a 1997 issue of Premiere magazine.

He was nominated in 2004 as Worst Actor in five of the six films in which he appeared: “Along Came Polly”, “Anchorman”, “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story”, “Envy”, and “Starsky & Hutch”.
