Trivia

Idol has 6 studio albums and 6 official compilations/Best-Ofs/remixed/non-original albums.
The uncensored video for ‘Hot In The City’ was banned by MTV for the use of its explicit imagery. This included Idol’s then-girlfriend Perri Lister tied to a cross. ‘White Wedding’ also sparked controversy over the razor sharp wedding ring that draws blood when placed on Lister’s finger.
Idol’s continuing heroin and cocaine abuse caused Lister to leave him.
A series of "drug incidents" made him re-evaluate himself, and he turned himself around to attend to his two children, each born to different mothers.
“Rebel Yell”, his most iconic song, came to him in a drunken haze at Mick Jagger’s birthday party in Ronnie Wood’s New York house.
