Charlies Angels Biography

Charlie's Angels

'Good morning, Charlie.' The ass-kicking trio who fought crime in catsuits on the small screen during the 70s. But clashing egos and hair flicks revealed the angels' darker sides.

Charlie’s Angels was a 1970s TV show about three female detectives who work for the mysterious Charlie Townsend, a man who spoke but was never seen. The women were all ex-cops who, fed up with being stereotyped by their sex into working as secretaries and metermaids, want some action. They were tough fighting women, who spent a lot of time in bikinis and tight tops, just to make sure the boys watched it too.

In 2000, the characters were adapted into a box office hit. The angels were remoulded in the form of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. On a mission to retrieve stolen software for Knox Technologies, the beautiful angles get to blow up stuff, beat men and women up, drive fast cars, and run around in very skimpy clothing, all while balancing on high heels. Remarkable.
