- Despite widely believed rumours, James Hewitt denies being Prince Harry’s natural father.

- Many comparisons have been made between Diana and her mother’s characters, appearances and lives. Both were young, inexperienced women, married to older men of high station, who were forced to deal with enormous media attention and who eventually divorced their husbands.

- Awarded the ‘Prize for Humanity’ by the Society for Brain Research in New York, in 1995.

- Humphrey Bogart is her 7th cousin.

- Met Mother Theresa in New York in June 1997, shortly before both of their deaths (Princess Diana died 31 August 1997 and Mother Theresa died 5 September 1997).
