Eugene Levy Biography

Eugene Levy

Eugene Levy is an award-winning writer, actor, producer and director, whose fame has increased dramatically over the past few years thanks to his role in the teen movie ‘American Pie’.

Having joined the Second City Theatre in 1977, Eugene fell in with a circle of comics who would go on to dominate comedic films. From 1976-1984, this group would rival 'Saturday Night Live' with 'SCTV' – an improvisational show with Catherine O'Hara, John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Rick Moranis, Martin Short, and Andrea Martin.

Small parts in films such as ‘Father of the Bride’, ‘Armed and Dangerous’, ‘Splash’ and ‘Multiplicity’ made Levy a recognised face, if not a big name.

Levy is a real trooper in the comedy states, and his characterisations are so precise that his talent is bound to keep him busy for decades to come.
