He has been credited in films as: Jacky Chan, Yuan Lung Chan, Yuen-Lung Chan,Lung Chen, Long Cheng, Wellson Chin, Chan Yuan Lung, Chen Lung, Sing Lung.

He has been married to Feng-Jiao Lin, a highly respected actress in the Chinese film industry, since 1983.

He always believes in performing his own stunts and asks that the actors and actresses in his movies also do this.

A member of his fan club committed suicide after finding out he was married.

He has incurred many injuries from performing his own stunts including many breakages and a permanant hole in his head.

He has his own stunt man team called Sing Ga Ban or Jackie Chan Stuntman Association.

In 1976, he underwent plastic surgery to give himself a more 'Western' look.
