Jennifer Garner Biography

Garner’s father is a retired chemical engineer, and her mother was a housewife before returning to school to earn a Masters and later working as a teacher.

She lists her hobbies as cooking, gardening, hiking and kickboxing.

Her 'Alias' co-star, Victor Garber, officiated her wedding to Ben Affleck.

Garner was kissed on the neck by an overly enthusiastic Gary Busey on the 2008 Academy Awards red carpet. Busey subsequently apologised.

Although she performs all of her own stunts, Garner imposed a ‘no chest touching’ rule during the filming of ‘The Kingdom’ as she was nursing her daughter, Violet, at the time.

Since marrying Affleck, Garner has become an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and admits to having cried when one player (Pedro Martinez) left the team.
