- Surname is pronounced ‘Q-sack’ and is 6’ 2½“ (1.89m) tall.
- One of his favourite films is “Apocalypse Now” (1979).
- Was set to play John Bender in the ‘Brat Pack’ teen film “The Breakfast Club” (1985) but at the last minute, the role went to Judd Nelson.
- Ranked number 15 in the 100th issue of Tropopkin’s Top 25 Most Intriguing People.
- Turned down Woody Harrelson’s role in “Indecent Proposal” (1993).
- Is an avid fan of punk rock bands The Clash, The Ramones and The Specials and always makes reference to them at least once in his films. He does so by wearing a t-shirt of the band, having a poster of the band in the background or by using their music in the soundtrack.
- Trained in kickboxing with Benny Urquidez for the film “Grosse Point Blank” (1997) in which he not only starred but was also co-producer and screenplay writer.
