Trivia

Louie uses extra virgin olive oil in the shower as a moisturiser. For health and safety reasons, he recommends you clean the shower afterwards with washing up liquid so as to avoid any slippery falls.

He speaks fluent Italian after working in Rome for Italian TV.

Around 1995, Gary Barlow, from Take That, bought him a new sofa after tiring of sitting on Louie’s cheap foam one.

When asked if his autobiography revealed his true voice, Louie replied that if it had, the book should have come with a free spit guard (because of the amount of spittle he generates with his lisp)

Louie’s mum works at an old person’s home. But Louie says that when he’s appearing on daytime TV and the telly’s on in the residents room, the elderly residents always have to wait for their lunch as she’s too busy watching her son.

Louie says his mum realised he’d made it when she saw him in The Sun.

The nature of Louie is irrepressible.
