- In a scene in Red Dragon (2002), requiring him to run naked down a flight of stairs, Fiennes had to have his genital area blacked out in the final film cut, because his genitals were swinging too much.
- Empire magazine rated him 33 in the 100 Sexiest Stars in Film History (1995).
- Is the only actor ever to win a Tony Award for playing Hamlet on Broadway.
