- During the ABBA years, Benny co-wrote and co-produced all of the band’s output. After ABBA’s split, Benny and Bjorn wrote the music for Tim Rice’s massively successful musical “Chess” (1984).

- In recent years, has produced for successful Swedish performers such as Josefin Nilsson.

- A keen bird watcher, Benny spends much of his spare time in this pursuit.

- His long and dedicated contribution to the Swedish music industry has been recognised in several concerts, staged in 1998.
