While most artists were conforming to the standards set before them of recording rules, musical style, financial kickbacks and dress codes, we will share the stories of roadblocks set the music business establishment and the new roads paved by these special artists.

Featured artists include Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Hank Williams Jr. and those original Outlaws, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

They not only refused to compromise their music but also resisted all attempts to be guided down the road to political correctness. They did it their way. They challenged dress codes and insisted on their own style. They took on the music establishment and created their own business plan.
