Paris and Nicole agree to be honorary co-chairs of the Springtime Gala, but instead of working at the gala, they engage in their usual shocking behaviour; the Ledings are embarrassed, and everyone in town is gossiping about Paris and Nicole.
It’s Day 13 of Paris and Nicole’s stay in Altus, and the little town is buzzing about them. The girls attempt to hitchhike, and a local man warns them that it’s illegal, but seems amused by them. Most of the town’s men seem charmed by the girls, but the women criticize Paris and Nicole’s skimpy outfits.
The mayor of the town calls Paris at the Ledings’ to say that her dog, Tinkerbell, needs to be registered. After the call the mayor expresses concern about the girls’ language and behaviour.
Paris puts shoes and a coat on Tinkerbell and takes the little dog to the mayor’s office for registration. There the mayor invites the girls to be honorary co-chairs of the town’s Springtime Gala. The girls happily accept. The mayor and the Ledings hope that the Gala will be a chance for the girls to redeem themselves with the town.
Curly helps Paris and Nicole make pies from scratch. It’s Paris’ first pie. Janet comments that she can’t tell the difference between the underwear and the street clothes in Paris’ wardrobe. Justin notes that the girls in town think Paris and Nicole are “bitches.” When the girls go out with Justin, they’re protective of him when they run into his ex-girlfriend. The ex only wants to be friends, so Paris and Nicole make a point of hanging all over Justin when they meet her.
On the day of the gala the girls wear their skimpy versions of “country” clothes. They pack up their homemade pies and get in the truck to head to the gala, but the truck dies. The girls take the pies out of the truck, but leave the pies outside while they go in to call Justin to come and get them. A dog eats Nicole’s pie.
Meanwhile Curly is at the gala, happily telling her friends that she helped the girls make pies to enter into a contest. At home the girls go outside and discover that the pie was eaten. Nicole trashes Paris’ pie, so both their desserts are ruined. They laugh and squirm, imagining how disappointed Curly will be. When they arrive at the gala, they explain what happened, and Curly excuses them for not knowing better than to leave the pies outside.
Three-year-old Braxton is set to compete in the town’s Prince competition and Nicole gets his name painted on her chest as a gesture of support. The girls drink beer and laugh about being rednecks. The mayor introduces Paris and Nicole to the town, and Braxton comes onstage for the Prince contest.
He answers questions with poise. Complaining that the gala is a lot of work, the girls partake in the fair’s activities, smashing whipped cream into a girl’s face and dunking a boy in the dunk tank, all in their usual over-the-top style. Janet bemoans the girls’ behaviour.
The mayor puts the girls in a kissing booth, and the girls raise money by pecking people on the cheek. Soon a boy comes by and wants Paris and Nicole to kiss each other. Nicole agrees to kiss the boy on the lips if he kisses his male friend, which he does, to the girls’ amusement. Nicole lets boys kiss her on the butt, and Janet is appalled.
Paris and Nicole sell him a discounted consolation kiss. Then they go to the ladies’ room, where his ex is. The ex asks why Paris and Nicole are being so mean to her, and they say she’s mean to Justin. They tell her that he’s made out with several other girls since she broke up with him, including them. Then they laugh and say they’re just kidding. She seems hurt and confused by their behaviour. Most of the other girls in the town are similarly unimpressed with Paris and Nicole. The men, however, remain much less critical.
