My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding gives viewers a behind the scenes look at some of the America's most extravagant weddings. These aren't celebrity couples, just average brides and grooms -- at least where "average" means spending $450,000 ... on décor alone.

Each episode will follow one couple's wedding planning process and will capture all of the amazing details.

When Ruben, a 43-year-old Las Vegas contractor, proposed to his 19-year-old girlfriend Yazel, her parents were not exactly thrilled. Hoping to win their approval, Ruben is paying for the entire wedding...anything his young bride wants. They're planning a traditional 19th century themed Mexican wedding, unlike anything the exclusive Bellagio Hotel has ever seen.

With four different entertainment acts, thousands of imported flowers, and three world-renowned chefs catering the affair, will this grand fiesta be enough to bridge their generation gap?
