[b]Marvin Lee Aday, known to most of us as Meat Loaf, was told by his mother, as a child, that he couldn't hold a note in a bucket. Surprisingly then, that he is one of the most famous of entertainers both as a singer and as an actor. [/b]

He first came to the public's attention in the musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show, alongside [b][urlnew=/biography_home/14:0/Susan_Sarandon.htm]Susan Sarandon[/urlnew][/b]. He is probably most remembered for his albums Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell 2, the latter selling over 10million copies worldwide and earning him a Grammy. That album spawned such memorable hits as "Dead Ringer" (a duet with Cher) and "I'd do Anything For Love".

He has also appeared in many films over the years most notably Wayne's World and Fight Club. He has just released a new album, "Couldn't Have Said it Better", which is now gold in the UK and entered the Billboard charts on 2nd October, his platinum "Best of….." re-entered UK top 30 on 16th November, new single "Man of Steel" entered UK singles charts at no. 21 on 30th November.
