To their friends and family, Ling Wang and Alex Chen were the perfect couple. They married in the late 1990s and it was allegedly an arranged marriage.

Ling emigrated to Toronto in 2001, promising to sponsor her husband Alex. Meanwhile she settled into a good job in pharmaceuticals - where she met her lover, Facial Labidi.

This love triangle was overwhelmed by lies and secrets and ended in a crime of passion, the twist being that the perpetrator was not Ling’s husband Alex, but her lover, Facial Labidi.
