When detectives are out of time and out of luck, where do they turn? Over the years law enforcement has developed an arsenal of investigative tools that are used to aid a stalled investigation. But how often do investigators actually enlist the help of a psychic? No longer the sole realm of the X-Files, Psychic Detectives tells the true stories of real cases where psychics have helped detectives solve some of law enforcement's most baffling cases.

Whether it’s to find a missing person or solve a vicious murder, Psychic Detectives profiles the cases where the police force have had to put their skepticism aside and trust the psychics intuition and vision. When police cannot find any witnesses or clues to point them in the right direction a psychic is needed to jump start the investigation.


In 'A Psychic Roadmap', a young nurse disappears on her way to work. Two later Etta Smith hears the news of a house to house search for a missing woman on a radio broadcast. She drives to her local police station and reports she can locate the missing woman. She even outlines on a map where police should look. Rather than thanking her police now suspect Etta is involved with a murder.
