When detectives are out of time and out of luck, where do they turn? Over the years law enforcement has developed an arsenal of investigative tools that are used to aid a stalled investigation. But how often do investigators actually enlist the help of a psychic? No longer the sole realm of the X-Files, Psychic Detectives tells the true stories of real cases where psychics have helped detectives solve some of law enforcement's most baffling cases.

Whether it’s to find a missing person or solve a vicious murder, Psychic Detectives profiles the cases where the police force have had to put their skepticism aside and trust the psychics intuition and vision. When police cannot find any witnesses or clues to point them in the right direction a psychic is needed to jump start the investigation.


The small town of Belvidere, New Jersey is shocked by the murder of one of its residents. With few leads and seemingly at a dead end, detective Dave Heater enlists the help of psychic Nancy Weber.

When the two visit the scene of the crime, the psychic is flooded with visions and tells the detective that this is not the first murder that this man has committed.
