King of Couture Dies
Leading fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent has passed away at the age of 71.
The Algerian-born Frenchman, who retired from the fashion world in 2002, had reportedly been unwell for some time, suffering from a respiratory-related illness.
Saint Laurent, who formed one of a handful of designers that dominated 20th century fashion, was renowned for placing women in men’s clothes and changing the face of fashion.
Paying homage to the designer, French President Nicolas Sarkozy described Saint Laurent as “one of the greatest names in fashion.” He continued: “Yves Saint Laurent infused his label with his creative genius, elegant and refined personality, discrete and distinguished … because he was convinced that beauty was a necessary luxury for all men and all women.”

Clinton Vs Obama: The Final Chapter
After months of campaigning, the epic Democratic nomination race will come to a close with final primaries in South Dakota and Montana.
Mr Obama, who now has an insurmountable lead over rival Hillary Clinton, is expected to walk away with victories in both the states.
In spite of this pessimistic forecast for Clinton, aides of the New York Senator believe she is unlikely to withdraw from the race, holding out until Obama’s victory is clear.
However, sources have also stated that Clinton recognises her White House dreams have dissipated, at least for the time being, with members of her advance staff being recalled home and informed their jobs were ending.

The robotic action flick, which stars Shia LaBoeuf and Megan Fox, won the best movie award at the event held in California's Universal Studios.
The MTV Movie Awards have been going since 1992 and hand out awards based on votes from fans.
At this year’s ceremony, hosted by Mike Myers, other major wins of the night went to Ellen Page, who scooped best actress for her role in Juno and Will Smith, who grabbed the respective male trophy for I Am Legend. Adam Sandler also had cause for celebration after winning the much coveted lifetime achievement award.
Sex Sells Most
The Sex and the City movie has shot to number one in the US box office, knocking the latest Indiana Jones instalment into second place.
The long-awaited romantic comedy, based on the lives of four Manhattan women, quickly dwarfed Indiana Jones’ two week reign at the top, selling approximately $56 on its opening weekend over Jones’ $46 million.
A similar trend occurred in the UK, where Sex and the City’s first day screen average once again outstripped the popular action movie.

Moss Not So Provocative
Kate Moss has been snubbed by leading lingerie company Agent Provocateur, who have terminated her £500,000 contract.
The supermodel has been one of the leading faces of Agent Provocateur over the past few years and has fronted this year’s bridal campaign. However, according to sources, the brand “want a fresh new face” and have appointed 20 year old blonde beauty Alice Dellal in her place.
This is not the first time the scandalous 34 year old has lost out to younger talent. In 2006, Keira Knightley became the new face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume, while last year, Kate Moss was usurped by Agyness Deyn, 22, for Burberry’s campaign.
