Charlie Sheen's estranged wife at sober living facility

Brooke Mueller, a real estate investor who is the estranged wife of actor Charlie Sheen, has checked herself into a sober living facility in Los Angeles, it has been revealed.

The 33-year-old, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, according to her attorney, was in the last few months embroiled in a public spat with her estranged husband, which led to the breakdown of the relationship.

Charges of domestic violence towards her were levelled against Sheen, who was arrested and later charged with felony menacing, and third-degree assault and criminal mischief.

Now Ms Mueller, who is filming a reality show, is trying to "get her life back", according to her mother Moira Fiore, who revealed that her daughter is in "a facility for very wealthy people trying to fight addictions".

She told People: "She is struggling with her sobriety and we are going away on a cruise so we feel better that she will be there while we are gone."
