Jamie Oliver attacks 'disrespectful' Ramsay

Jamie Oliver

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has criticised his rival Gordon Ramsay for being "disrespectful" to Indian chefs while shooting his latest series in the country, it has been reported.

Ramsay recently did the Channel 4 series entitled Gordon's Great Escape, in which the 44-year-old visited the expansive nation, but his behaviour on the programme did not please Oliver.

The 35-year-old attacked the foul-mouthed chef known for shouting and swearing, saying he "wouldn't have minded if he had done a good job, but he didn't. He just wasn't respectful", reports the Daily Mail.

He added: "That is the most important thing when you visit another culture. You shut your mouth, you listen and you smile and you suck it all up and you take it all home."

Oliver recently achieved a new milestone when he became the second person after JK Rowling to sell more than £100 million worth of books in the UK, trouncing fellow culinary expert Delia Smith.
