A collection of Elizabeth Taylor memorabilia will be sold at auction

Fans of the Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor will be able to get their hands on important memorabilia relating to the 'Cleopatra' actress.
Auction house Christie's is currently hosting a series of sales, putting items of her jewellery collection under the hammer, and the auction of collectibles will signal the end.
It will be held in New York on 16 December, with one of the key lots being an untitled ink on paper by Andy Warhol, which was dedicated to the actress with 'a kiss'.
The artist portrayed Taylor in some of his works and this ink was just one of his gifts to the actress. It is expected to sell for between $6,000 (£3,852) and $8,000 (£5,000).
A costume that was made for Taylor's cameo appearance in the 1969 film 'Anne of a Thousand Days', which also starred Richard Burton, is estimated to sell for a maximum of $1,500 (£962).
Marc Porter, chairman of Christie's America, said: "This is the most intriguing and desirable personal collection of film memorabilia to have come to auction in more than a decade."
Taylor passed away on 23 March 2011 at the age of 79 of congestive heart failure.
