Beach Boys reuniting in 2012

The Beach Boys are reuniting.

The remaining three members of the 'Good Vibrations' stars The Beach Boys will be reuniting for their 50th anniversary and going on tour in 2012.

Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and Mike Love are the only surviving members of the band who have enjoyed a rock n' roll 50 years since being signed to Capitol Records in 1962.

The band enjoyed success with the legendary album 'Pet Sounds' and 'The Beach Boys' but Wilson also became estranged from the band and they lost drummer Dennis Wilson at the age of 39 when he drowned and Carl Wilson who lost his battle with lung cancer in 1997.

Wilson told the Daily Mail: "We are making a new studio album, re-issuing a lot of our hits, and in April we will embark on a 50-date world tour. And, yes, we are planning to play in the UK."

Bruce Johnston and David Marks, fellow Californians, who have been in and out of the band since the 1960s will be rejoining the Beach Boys for their anniversary and tour.
