Boy George launches new book

Boy George has released a new book.

Boy George unveiled his latest picture book called 'Kings of Queens' on 12 December.

He has already released two biographies but this book focuses on photographs that have been taken over his music career, reports the Daily Mail.

Contents of the book include previously unseen images, illustrations, artist photos, school reports, extracts from his baby book and rare memorabilia, as well as letters.

It will also include a commentary by the 'Karma Chameleon' singer providing a personal insight in to his life.

After the book launch at the Hospital Club in London, George tweeted: "Book launch was really sweet. Lovely to see everyone, great vibe!"

Boy George is set to reunite with his original band to perform in Sydney in the new year.

His real name is George Alan O'Dowd and he grew up in a lively family in Ireland. He rose to fame in the 1980s as an androgynous singer which made him a poster boy for the New Romantics.
