Daniel Day-Lewis spotted in Abraham Lincoln make up

Daniel Day-Lewis has been pictured in his make up and outfit for his latest movie role for the first time.
He will be portraying the 16th president of the United States Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's new film 'Lincoln', which is set for release in December 2012.
A picture of Day-Lewis in full make up including a grey beard was taken as he took a break from filming in Richmond, Virginia on 30 November.
The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin's 'Team of Rivals'.
Goodwin adapted the script with Tony Kushner. The film will focus on the last few months of Lincoln's presidency and life.
Lincoln is an iconic American president known for his role in the American Civil War, which saw the north fighting the south, and his opposition towards slavery although he never interfered.
He was assassinated while enjoying a play at the theatre by John Wilkes Booth on 14 April 1865.
