Adam Sandler gets on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

US actor Adam Sandler has joined some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry on Hollywood Boulevard, where he is now the proud owner of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

The 44-year-old comedian and film producer received the 2,431st star in the company of his wife Jackie Titone and their daughters Sadie, four, and two-year-old Sunny this week.

Although the moment was his to enjoy, his daughters were keen to share the limelight and grabbed the microphone to declare their love for the Punch Drunk Love and Grown Ups star.

Sandler, who was once a Saturday Night Live cast member, has appeared in a host of high grossing movies, including 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

His most recent outings include You Don't Mess with the Zohan and Funny People and he is due to star alongside Jennifer Aniston in Just Go with It.
