Celine Dion and family back in Las Vegas

Celine Dion

Celine Dion and her family have returned to Las Vegas ahead of the musician's anticipated return to Caesars Palace where she has a lucrative three-year residency.

Fans, friends and employees of the establishment were on hand to welcome the French-Canadian singer, who showed off the latest addition to her family - twins Eddy and Nelson, who are nearly four months old.

Husband and manager Rene Angelil, 69, carried one of the babies while 42-year-old Dion clutched the other as son Rene-Charles, ten, and the singer's mother Therese joined the entourage.

Dion and her husband struggled for years to have a family, with several IVF sessions helping her conceive her first son and further attempts later resulting in triplets, although one baby did not survive after dying early in pregnancy.

The My Heart Will Go On singer, who ended a five-year run of sold-out shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2007, is due to start a new run featuring 70 performances a year.
