Musicians honour their own at the Grammy Awards

Rapper Jay-Z and soul singer John Legend were among the people to emerge victorious from the Grammy Awards after picking up three awards each in a show that had some surprise winners.
The most prestigious ceremony in the music calendar, which was held last weekend, saw Jay-Z walk away with honours for his duet with Alicia Keys, Empire State of Mind as Legend's collaboration with The Roots also yielded results.
Pop star Lady Gaga and country trio Lady Antebellum also won accolades, with the latter receiving five gongs, including song of the year and record of the year for Need You Now.
However, one of the greatest shocks of the night came when teen heart-throb Justin Bieber lost the best new artist category to singer and bassist Esperanza Spalding, the first jazz artist to win the award.
Receiving the accolade, she said: "Hopefully people will realise that there's talent in the jazz world that they didn't know about."
