British mum loses nine stone after becoming stuck in the bath

A mother has lost nine stone

British mother-of-four Sharon Holden has lost nine stone in weight over the last four years after becoming stuck in her bath.

The 38-year-old used to weigh 22 stone 10lbs due to her diet of crisps, takeaways and sandwiches, reports the Daily Mail.

Four years ago, she went for a relaxing soak in the bath but became stuck and her husband Jonathan strained a back muscle trying to release her, which took ten minutes.

Since then the teaching assistant has shed nine stone and now weighs a healthier 13 stone 10lbs.

Ms Holden told the news provider: "I really do feel great now."

She lost nine stone by following a Weight Watchers diet, which included replacing crisps with fruit and sandwiches with soup, and by walking.

The Biography Channel will be broadcasting 'My Big Fat Operation' every Tuesday from 6 March at 9pm.

This show is a human interest documentary following the physical and emotional journeys of 12 morbidly obese people.
