George Michael to reschedule axed tour dates

George Michael has revealed that he hopes to reschedule the tour dates that were cancelled in 2011 to September this year.
The singer cancelled the remaining 14 dates of his 'Symphonica' tour as he was admitted to an Austrian hospital suffering from pneumonia in November 2011.
He has now announced on Twitter that he hopes to return once his vocal chords are ready as they were affected by the illness.
Michael wrote: "Realistically, I can't see my vocal cords being ready till [sic] the summer.
"But then I have to think about people losing out if they are on their summer hols. So, September seems most likely."
He apologised for the wait but assured fans he will use the time wisely to improve the show, mix some live tracks and even work on some new songs.
Michael was released from hospital in time for Christmas on 22 December 2011.
He first came to fame with the pop group Wham!, who had hits with 'Last Christmas'. 'Club Tropicana' and 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' during the 1980s.
Michael then pursued a solo career releasing his debut album 'Faith' in 1987.
