Whitney Houston laid to rest in private funeral

Whitney Houston was laid to rest at a private burial service on 19 February.
On 18 February, tributes had been paid to the singer and actress at an invitation-only ceremony at the New Hope Baptist church in Newark, New Jersey, as she used to sing there as a child.
Friends of the 'I Will Always Love You' singer including Kevin Costner, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Clive Davis, who all paid tribute to Houston through song or speech.
Yesterday, her silver casket was buried next to her fathers, who died in 2003, at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
Houston's coffin was transported the 20 miles to the cemetery in a gold hearse followed by a long line of cars and security guards.
The hearse was followed by a black truck full of purple roses, pink carnations and white lilies.
Fans carrying banners, flowers and photographs of the singer lined the route that the hearse travelled. It reached its destination at 11.45am.
Houston, who will be remembered for her acting roles in 'The Bodyguard' (1992) and 'Waiting to Exhale' (1995), as well as her hit songs 'I Will Always Love You' and 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' was found dead last week (11 February).
The 48-year-old was found in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel.
