Piers Morgan to kick off show with Oprah interview

Former Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan is poised to grace American television screens from January 17th after taking over from veteran broadcaster Larry King on CNN.
A stellar cast of leading names has been lined up for the first week of Piers Morgan Tonight, including Hollywood star George Clooney and British comedian Ricky Gervais.
The 45-year-old former editor of the News of the World and the Daily Mirror, who has recorded an interview with Oprah Winfrey for his first programme, will also quiz radio host Howard Stern and former US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice.
Future guests include Rod Stewart, Kim Kardashian, her sister Kourtney, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Kid Rock and Donald and Melania Trump.
Best known to US viewers as a judge on America's Got Talent, Morgan has expressed a desire to interview American president Barack Obama in the future.
