Michael Jackson immortalised with hand and footprints

Michael Jackson has been immortalised in the US following a hand and footprints ceremony in Los Angeles.
On 26 January, the late singer's children - Prince (14), Paris (13) and Blanket (nine) – paid tribute to their father.
Using the musician's famous sequined glove and a pair of his dancing shoes, the youngsters imprinted Jackson's hand and foot prints into cement.
This will leave a memorial to the 'Thriller' singer outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
"This, right here, is his lifetime achievement award," Prince told People.
"This is what he strived to get, and this is what we are giving him now."
The youngsters also added their own prints to the memorial.
Other guests at the ceremony included Jackson's mother Katherine, his two brothers Tito and Jackie, and fellow celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Chris Tucker, Smokey Robinson and Quincy Jones.
Jackson first came to fame as part of the band 'The Jackson Five', which also included his brothers.
In 1971, he started following a solo career and enjoyed success with albums 'Thriller', 'Bad' and 'Dangerous'.
He died on 25 June 2009.
