Britney wanted for Las Vegas residency
Singer Britney Spears is rumoured to be considering a residency in Las Vegas.
According to the Daily Mirror, the mother-of-two could be about to sign a deal worth £65 million to perform a string of shows in the city.
A source at Caesar's Palace told the newspaper that Vegas "moguls" are holding meetings and trying to secure Spears for a permanent show.
"If she performed in Vegas on a regular basis, it would attract loads of fans to the city. She'd bring in so much revenue. There's no doubt she would be offered at least as much as country star Garth Brooks, who signed a $100 million deal and has been selling out shows in Vegas since 2009," the newspaper was informed.
The source added that Britney could be an even bigger draw than Brooks.
Spears' latest album Femme Fatale was released in the UK this week and features her latest single Hold It Against Me.
