DiCaprio 'is De Niro to younger generation'
Hollywood actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio has received praise from one of his fellow A-listers.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Amanda Seyfried revealed what it was like working with DiCaprio, who produced her latest film Red Riding Hood.
"When [Leo] came to visit there was a weird tension on set. Everybody was whispering, 'He's here! He's here!' You know, he's like a godfather. He's like [Robert] De Niro to the younger generation of actors," she commented.
"He was a big part of the casting process, which is good because his input is always wanted. He's been working for a long time and he makes great choices."
Seyfried, who plays the lead in the film, added that the Inception actor also helped to calm the nerves of her co-stars Shiloh Fernandez and Max Iron during script readings.
Red Riding Hood is directed by Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke and also features Gary Oldman, Billy Burke and Virginia Madsen.
