Dumb and Dumber sequel 'is a possibility'

A Dumb and Dumber sequel could be on the cards, it has been revealed.

Promoting their latest movie Hall Pass, the Farrelly brothers said children regularly approach them quoting lines from the cult comedy, the Huffington Post reports.

"If we could get those two guys back together, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, that might be a worthwhile sequel - and that ball is in motion. We're starting to think about what those two dimwits would be doing twenty years later in life, and hopefully we'll be able to come up with something worthy of a sequel," director Bob Farrelly said.

He added that Dumb and Dumber has "run a bunch of times" on TV in the US, suggesting that it could now be time for another instalment.

The brothers' current film Hall Pass stars Owen and Jason Sudeikis as two frustrated husbands who are given permission to enjoy a week of freedom with no questions asked.
