Hugh Laurie to retire after 'House'?

British actor and musician Hugh Laurie has hinted he may retire from television acting when 'House' ends.
The drama about a limping, misanthropic doctor is currently in its eighth season and its creator David Shore has hinted it could be its last in the past.
Laurie has become a popular face in the US due to the show and is thought to be paid between £156,000 and £250,000 per episode.
He told the Daily Record that he has been spoilt in America and he feels extremely lucky to have had the chance when he did.
Speaking about what he will do when House ends, he said: "I think I will probably be as interested by either writing or producing or directing, or some other aspect. I find the whole field of it fascinating."
The 'Blackadder' star could always fall back on his music career, as he can play the piano, drums, guitar, harmonica and the saxophone.
Laurie pushed back the release of his debut album in April this year, as he didn't want it to clash with the royal wedding.
