Justin Timberlake keeps YouTube promise

Justin Timberlake kept a promise after accepting a YouTube invitation to attend the Marine Corps ball on 12 November in Virginia.
The 'Sexy Back' singer was asked to attend the event as the date of Marine corporal Kelsey De Santis, after she invited him using the online video site YouTube.
Timberlake looked smart in a black suit with a snazzy bow tie and made quite an impression on the other guests at the ball.
They also had an effect on him with the singer turned actor writing on his website: "I felt so proud to be there. I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes. It's funny too because a lot of them are SO younger than me."
The invitation was issued this summer after Timberlake urged his 'Friends with Benefits' co-star Mila Kunis to accept an invitation to the ball made by sergeant Scott Moore on YouTube.
Timberlake started his musical career in the Mickey Mouse Club as a child before joining the boy band NSync. He launched his solo career in 2002.
