Jamie Foxx announced as host of Michael Jackson tribute concert

Actor and singer Jamie Foxx has been named as the host of the Michael Jackson tribute concert, which will take place on October 8th in Cardiff.
The Miami Vice star told MTV News: "Michael was larger than life and I have admired him, honoured him, joked about him but always loved and respected him.
"I hope I honour his legacy in a way that would make him laugh and cry."
Christina Aguilera, Cee-lo Green and JLS have all been confirmed as performers at the concert, which will take place at the Millennium Stadium.
However, Beyonce Knowles who was supposed to be performing live via a satellite has cancelled her appearance. She will still make a video contribution to the event.
Both Jermaine and Randy Jackson have criticised the timing of the concert as Michael's doctor Conrad Murray is currently on trial for manslaughter.
Michael died on June 25th 2009 after enjoying a musical career spanning more than 45 years as he rose to fame in 1964 as a member of the Jackson Five.
