Aldo's Diet Tips

Aldo Zilli, founder and chef-patron of some of London’s most exciting restaurants, is an exuberant personality whose establishments are a magnet for everyone - from families to celebrities. Aldo took part in World's Best Diets on ITV1, where several celebrities chose a country and followed the diet. The Mediterranean Diet won best diet with Aldo advising the celebrity involved.
Here he reveals a few of his favourite diet tips:
- Only eat when you are hungry.
- Remember to keep it small, light and often. Five small meals a day is ideal.
- Eat oily fish at least three times a week.
- Try not to eat fruit after your evening meal. It stops the digestive system from working properly.
- Try to avoid eating late at night. Ideally have a light evening meal at least two to three hours before you go to bed. This way you will sleep better and wake up energised.
- You can eat the most at lunchtime. Therefore, if you want to indulge, this is the best time to do it.
