MY BIG FAT OPERATION is a documentary series following the incredible physical and emotional journeys of twelve super obese patients.
With exclusive access to the UK’s leading bariatric hospitals including Chelsea & Westminster, St. Richards Chichester, Birmingham Heartlands and Wittington Hospital, the cameras will follow each of these patients as they begin the process of life saving surgery.
This human interest documentary series will begin its story charting each new patient’s back story as we learn more about their home life, their battle with their eating issues and their decision to tackle their obesity. The cameras will join each patient as they go under the knife as their bodies are radically altered with pioneering bariatric surgery.
