A concerned homeowner contacts CPD when her house guest is choked in her sleep by an unseen force. The team quickly finds an unusual connection between the victim and a deceased girl who used to be best friends with the homeowner's daughter. Moriah's skills as a medium are quickly utilised in order to make contact with the deceased friend in an effort to stop the threatening behaviour.

The team responds to a store manager in need of answers. Roger, the night manager at Big Timer's Sound Shop, is so distraught over events taking place in the basement of his store that he's ready to quit his job. With a newborn baby at home, Roger's wife convinces him he must stick it out, so Roger turns to the "Paranormal Cops" for help. The team soon discovers the store used to be a notorious hangout and gambling hall frequented by nefarious figures and host to countless crimes.

A fellow police officer calls in Ron and the team to help him uncover the mysteries surrounding his night job as a security officer at a banquet Hall. But when CPD digs in deep, they find there could be multiple spirits trying to get messages across from beyond the grave. Tragedy, healing and finality makes this one case CPD is determined to crack.

The owner of The Stag's Head, a restaurant and bar undergoing renovations, calls CPD in when paranormal activity starts to scare away employees and brings construction to a halt. Ron and the team quickly learn that the stories have merit and spend the night chasing footsteps and disembodied voices throughout the location. Homicide, construction and intelligent interaction make The Stag's Head one restaurant sure to benefit from the Chicago Paranormal Detectives.

Ron and the CPD team are called in to investigate an abandoned Women's College by a former student who has been haunted by the stories of murder and mystery for many years since graduating. The team finds that a young girl's suicide in 1916 could really have been a murder and that her aggressor is still hanging around the campus intent on on finding his next victim.

CPD find themselves on familiar ground when they are called in by the Frankfort Fire Department to investigate strange occurrences in the firehouse. Everyone falls ill during the investigation and Ron is left to consider if it's being caused by paranormal activity as Moriah makes contact with two spirits, one of which is intent on reaching out to a loved one.
