A police officer in the Chicago area since 1987, Ron Fabiani is skilled in Field Training, Evidence, Gangs, and Homicide Investigations and has been a Sergeant since 1996.

Intrigued by the paranormal for many years, he toured many notoriously haunted areas around Chicago and videotaped some significant paranormal activity, which prompted him to pursue an explanation. After discovering there were other police officers who wanted answers for apparent paranormal occurrences, Ron subsequently formed the Chicago Paranormal Detectives (C.P.D.).

Ron’s goal is to find evidence of paranormal activity and to help people who request assistance from the group. Known to the team as “Fabs,” Ron is often seen with a cigar dangling from his mouth.

Austin Weinstock

Austin Weinstock believes there are people who experience more than they are willing to share and would like the opportunity to investigate those experiences  more...

Serving in law enforcement since 2005, Austin Weinstock’s duties have included uniformed patrol, tactical patrol assignments, continuing education for children and other special assignments related to resistance of gang crimes and narcotics. His interest in the field began as he watched his father and brother – also experienced police officers – as they worked criminal and civil cases with Weinstock Investigations. The family-owned and operated business is where Austin learned the “call it like you see it” approach to investigations, but he believes every claim and statement demand evidence.

Austin’s interest in the paranormal started in 2000, when he observed what seemed to be a paranormal experience. He believes there are people who experience more than they are willing to share and would like the opportunity to investigate those experiences. With a high regard for evidentiary value, Austin hopes the C.P.D. will bring professionalism and credibility to the field.
